[Q] When do I get my card? You will receive your American Heart Association 2 year certification card same day as the skills check.
[Q] What if I haven’t completed the online portion yet? No problem! You can register for the online part and the skills check at the same time by going here AHA ONLINE CLASSES.
[Q] What’s the overall procedure for getting an official online certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)? The AHA does not have a course that is totally completed online. Each of the above online AHA classes also has a mandatory in-person skills check. So first you must complete the online portion and print out the completed certification. Then you will schedule a skills check where a certified AHA instructor will test your skills. After successful completion of your skills test, you will be awarded your card.

No. You will not need to bring anything. The payment you make includes everything.
Do I receive the same card from the American Heart Association when I do it online with a skill check as I would if I took a traditional classroom class?
Yes! The card is identical and recognized as such.
Who is the person giving the test?
All Skills Checks are administered by certified, well qualified AHA instructors. The instructor will be happy to allow practice time prior to any testing, as well as be available to answer any questions you may have. They are there to help you succeed!
